Notes[]
Behind the Scenes[]
Trivia[]
- Blood's status as an agent of both Imperial and Nazi Germany is vaguely reminiscent of the life of Fritz Joubert Duquesne, who served as a spy in the Second Boer War, World War I, and World War II. While both harboured a hatred for the United Kingdom, the resemblance between the two ends there.
- Blood's corpse being switched out with that of a woman matches the fact that Adolf Hitler's alleged skull actually belonged to a woman. This is however a coincidence, as the determination about Hitler's false skull[6] was only made in 2009, 29 years after the story was published.
