“ | Bill Towner, electrician. | ” |
Bill Towner was an American electrician and adventurer of the 20th century, whose career resulted in a number of adventures in parallel universes and alternate dimensions.
Biography[]
Job at the McLaughlin place[]
“ | Looks like you got some kind of alternate universe in there or somethin'. | ” |
Towner arrived onsite to inspect the wiring of the McLaughlin family home. He found a dimensional gateway inside a wall of the home and tore the wall open, allowing residents Jesse McLaughlin and Charlie Coriell to enter and travel back in time in search of the Aztecs who had stolen the crystal skull from Gramps. Towner then assisted the pair in fighting off Aztec priests and rescuing a virgin from being sacrificed.
Towner volunteered to stay behind and fight off the remaining Aztecs to allow the other three to escape, but was able to escape first of his own accord. Because his son was going to be playing little league baseball that evening, Towner had to cut his visit short, but left his card with McLaughlin, saying to call him any time for assistance.
