Brackett (d. 31 October 2007)[1] was an American[2] police detective and serial killer of the early 21st century. After his son Micah was rendered comatose following with an altercation with Cedarbrook University fraternity brothers, he planned to murder them in revenge. His killing spree coincided with that of fugitive cannibal Michael Lymburner, allowing Brackett to briefly implicate for his crimes. Brackett subsequently died while attacking Tommy St. Clair.

References[]
- ↑ No dates are referenced in the film apart from mentions of 30 October and subsequently Halloween; presumably the film was set in its initial year of release.
- ↑ While numerous websites claim the film is set in Canada, "Left for Dead" takes deliberate (if half-assed) measures to obscure Ontario licence plates, has a mention of a "state council" during a radio broadcast, and police cars marked as "State Police". The only evidence pointing towards a Canadian setting is the poorly-shot sign of the Hamilton Police Central Station; however, short of assuming the film takes place in an alternate history where Canada either has states or was annexed by the United States, it's most likely the film is set in America.
