Brad Jones is an American actor, writer, and director, known primarily for appearing in the cult web series "The Cinema Snob", "Ninja, the Mission Force", "Kung Tai Ted", as well as for his low-budget film productions such as "The Hooker with a Heart of Gold", "Jesus, Bro!", and "Disco". As well as his character the Cinema Snob, he is also known for playing Kung Tai Ted and 80's Dan.

On 28 June 2019, Jones and his wife Laura spoke about the film "Yesterday", and spoke about The Beatles. Laura segued to speaking her father's suicide and her father's love of the band. She spoke about how suicide affects everyone in a person's life, and how they have to live with the consequences. Laura then mentioned an additional incident on the day of her father's funeral, alleging a swatting attempt had been made based on claims that Jones was going to commit suicide. Laura then stated she had texted the person responsible and had been called a liar in turn.[2] She stated later in the video that the person had been a woman and had lied about it on Twitter.[3] Allison Pregler subsequently compared Jones to Donald Trump,[4] then spoke about Laura, asserting she had lied and calling her "horrible".[5][6] Pregler then spoke more on the subject, again accusing them both of lying and referring to them as "monsters".[7][8][9] Pregler would subsequently assert that Jones had known Justin Carmical was a sexual predator,[10][11][12][13] and of having exposed himself to underage relatives.[14] Pregler has maintained that Jones knew about Carmical's actions and remained silent.[15]

Jones' son Jack was born on 26 September 2023.[16]

On 28 June 2021, Jones revealed that he had been dealing with non-COVID-19-related health issues, that would cause him to put "The Cinema Snob" on hiatus.[17]
