Buck Rogers in the 25th Century A.D. is a long-running science fiction comic strip created by writer Philip Francis Nowlan and artist Dick Calkins. Based on Nowlan's novel "Armageddon 2419 A.D.", the strip starred World War I veteran Buck Rogers, who awakens after five centuries of suspended animation to a changed world of fantastic technologies and dastardly enemies.
