Burt Gummer was a human from an Undefined Multiverse, an American survivalist located in Perfection, Nevada, a small town that had to deal with repeated Graboid infestations. Gummer himself became an expert in Graboids and their life-cycles, allowing him to hunt them as a career and open up a school in order to teach how to eliminate them.

- Gummer was portrayed by American actor Michael Gross in all of Gummer's appearances.[1] In the sole film in the franchise that Gummer did not appear, Gross instead played his ancestor Hiram Gummer.[2]
