Carol Kersey was a Human woman from an Undefined Multiverse, and the daughter of Paul and Joanna Kersey, as well as the wife of Jack Toby.
After Carol and Joanne left their address in a crate of groceries to have them delivered, it was found by a gang of thugs, who decided to rob their home. Unsatisfied with what they found, they chose to murder Joanne and rape Carol, leaving her in a traumatized state.
She was rendered mute by this trauma, leading Toby to leave her, while her father Paul carried out vigilante violence to try to find the criminals.
She was eventually moved to a clinic in Los Angeles, where the death and destruction that followed Paul Kersey wherever he went caught up to her.
