Charles III (Charles Philip Arthur George; b. 14 November 1948),[1] is King of the United Kingdom and the 14 other Commonwealth realms since 2022. Charles had previously been the heir apparent to the British and Commonwealth thrones as the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip from his mother's accession in 1952 to his own in 2022.
