Mr. Burns

Charles Montgomery Burns was an American businessman of the 20th century. As the owner of the Springfield National Power Plant, Burns controlled the energy supply of Springfield, North Takoma for decades, exerting a level of political power that made him a leading member of the Springfield Republican Party.

Burns' early life was a matter of some debate. He once claimed to have been born in 1909,[1] (TV: Simpson and Delilah) though he recollected having been the older brother of comedian George Burns.[2] (TV: Rosebud) Seymour Skinner knew him to have been born in 1891.[3] (TV: Who Shot Mr. Burns? - Part One)
