Arthur Christopher Orme Plummer CC (13 December 1929 – 5 February 2021) was a Canadian actor. In a career that spanned seven decades he earned recognition for his performances on stage, film, and television. Plummer was the oldest actor to receive and to be nominated for an Academy Award until the 2021 Academy Awards, when that honour fell to Sir Anthony Hopkins.
