What the hell is it about Christmas in Bailey Downs? Are we cursed or something? Why does this season of love and peace and goodwill keep ending in blood and death and horror? You keep the spirit in your hearts, you hear me, people. You hug your loved ones and you keep them close and you treat them every Christmas like it might be your last.

Dangerous Dan, drunkenly horrified at the death of innocents

Dangerous Dan was a Canadian radio host of the early 21st century. A self-proclaimed Christmas expert, Dangerous Dan would expound on the merits of Christmas at every opportunity. This included one particular Christmas Eve, in which his co-host Stormin' Norman had a psychotic break while performing as a Mall Santa against his wishes, had a psychotic break, and killed anyone he could find in the mall. As a result of this event, Dan came to believe in dark forces conspiring to tarnish Christmas in Bailey Downs.[1]

Trivia[]

  • Dan is only tentatively identified as Canadian by this wiki; unlike other works set in Bailey Downs such as "Ginger Snaps" and "Orphan Black", Canadian elements are more muted in this film; while Ontario licence plates are recognisable, the "Ontario" marking on them is digitally obscured to prevent their identification.

Appearances[]

  • A Christmas Horror Story (first and final appearance)
