Lieutenant Daniel Holt was a Canadian military officer and assassin. In 2004, around the time of Matthew McLaughlin's death and the Canadian Crisis, Holt posed as CSIS agent Don Pritchard. to carry out murders on behalf of Burnham-Woods members Randall Spear, Kazio Izumi, and Gerhard Oehme, and subsequently Tom McLaughlin.
Holt enlisted in the Canadian Airborne Regiment on 11 September 1976. While serving with the regiment, Holt served as a superior officer to Theodore Jackman. In March 1978, Holt transferred to the Canadian Peacekeeping Corps, serving in Cyprus and Kosovo. He received training from the U.S. Navy SEALs and the SAS before being seconded to Joint Task Force 2. Subsequently, he was officially marked deceased following a car bombing in Kabul. Three years later, Holt enlisted Jackman to murder Matthew McLaughlin and Madeleine Manzel to prevent the truth from coming to light about the Ungava Compact. After murdering Detective Michel Duguay of the Sûreté du Québec, Holt was enlisted by McLaughlin's advisors to keep tabs on RCMP Sgt. Leah Collins and former Prime Minister Marc Lavigne. Holt was then ordered to foment unrest in Cree youth in Waswanipi, Quebec, inspiring them to attack hydroelectric infrastructure, giving McLaughlin the pretence to invite United States military intervention as part of his plot to turn Canada into an American client state. Holt subsequently followed Collins to Paris, and assassinated her and turncoat Cantron Steel executive Paul Frommer to prevent their exposure of McLaughlin's involvement in the Ungava Compact conspiracy. Holt had been paid by the time of the final and ultimately aborted election.
