Synopsis[]
Peter's hometown of Bell Island is being plagued by a mysterious deadly illness tied to the local Norse legend of ten mystical stones. The mother of a little girl is killed in a car crash and her soul enters the businesswoman who hit her.[1]

- Peter Axon's backstory is elaborated on for the first time. Bell Island would later receive mentions in "Little People", "Chango", and "The Observer Effect", and Axon's backstory would receive further development in "Solitary Confinement" and "Gone Fishing". Axon's future is expanded on in "Once Upon a Time in the West".
Collision[]
- Hendricks again feels remorse over his choices.
- Donner states that if she were Holly she wouldn't want to go through the pain of losing her mother twice. Donner would later lose someone very close to her for the second time in "Regeneration".
