Eli Roth was an American film director and writer, known for creating "Cabin Fever", "Hostel", and "Hostel 2".
Biography[]
Kidnapping Phelous[]
Roth embarked on a plan to kidnap Phelous, a Canadian internet reviewer who strongly disliked his work. He laced a DVD copy of "Hostel", and made sure it got to Phelous so that he would review it. (SKETCH: Hostel)
Phelous awoke tied up in his basement. Roth taunted him, frequently referring to the reviewer as "gay". Roth revealed the existence of "Hostel 2". He tried to knock Phelous unconscious, but was only able to by hitting him with the DVD. (SKETCH: Hostel 2)
Death[]
After Phelous reviewed the film, he set out to murder Roth. He aimed his gun at Roth, but it misfired. The bullet exited the back of the gun, killing him. Roth then advanced on the downed Phelous, but tripped on the "Hostel 2" DVD, landing on his scissors, killing himself. (SKETCH: Hostel 2)
