Finch was a resident of Smallport, Florida. He functioned as the lighthouse keeper, and his knowledge of ghosts and the ghost cave proved invaluable to ending the threat of the Ghost Shark.

- Moll said of the his role and the film itself, "It was an emotional roller coaster. I worked hard on that, and I hope I didn't freak everybody out getting into the various moods, but that was challenging."[3]
