Biography[]
Military Service[]
Harry served in the Korean War, taking part in the landing at Incheon. Afterward, he witnessed South Korean troops using borrowed gasoline from his regiment to boil rice in a rice paddy.
Harry drank throughout the war for four years, until an incident in he and an English captain had drunkenly flown his plane underneath a bridge over the Imjin River, out of boredom. The plane had had only six inches of clearance, and this was enough to inspire him to quit drinking. (FILM: Rituals)
