Jack Nicholson (b. April 22nd, 1937) is an American actor whose career spans over six decades, and has spanned many genres. He is one of the most celebrated actors of his generation, and is revered for his portrayals of alienated, rebellious outsiders. He has received twelve Academy Award nominations, making him the most-nominated male actor in Academy history.
