James "Jimmy" Reardon[1] was a Canadian drug trafficker of the 21st century. The head of a 3rd generation crime family, Reardon managed the international trade of marijuana under the guise of the Vancouver-based Reardon Shipping. Reardon's activities brought him into the sights of ambitious RCMP officer Mary Spalding, who sought to use Reardon's underworld connections and information in her bid to secure a high-ranking position in CSIS. Reardon's and Spalding's schemes brought them into conflict with the CIA and their organised crime proxies, who attempted to assassinate Reardon and left him for dead.
