Kenneth Douglas Taylor OC (5 October 1934 - 15 October 2015) was a Canadian ambassador and businessman. Taylor is remembered for his role in protecting American citizens during the Iran hostage crisis, and eventually aiding in their escape, in what came to be known as the Canadian Caper. In cooperation with the Central Intelligence Agency, Taylor enabled their covert escape after allowing them to hide in his home, at significant risk to his own life.
