Behind the Scenes[]
- The King of Worms was created by American reviewer and content creator Lewis Lovhaug.
- Lovhaug was inspired by a Thomas Ligotti story to create the character. Lovhaug thought about how even lowly worms would have an ultimate superior, and developed the character from the idea that worms were perceived as cowardly. The physical appearance of the character was inspired by H.R. Giger.[2] Its face was inspired by the ghost of Lavender Town.[3]
