“ | My plans are never stupid. Now man the helm and set a course for the sun! | ” |
–Linkara, giving Jaeris orders |
Linkara was a Human comic reviewer from the Channel Awesome Multiverse, and the chosen protector of his world. Along with his numerous allies, 90's Kid, Iron Liz, Harvey Finevoice, Dr. Linksano, and his ship, Comicron-1, he has fought off many evil forces, including Mechakara, Lord Vyce, The Entity, the King of Worms, Freddy Krueger, and many more.
Background[]
He was the grandson of Fat Grandma.[1] (REVIEW: The Time Machine (I Found at a Yardsale))
Biography[]
The Brawl[]
As the Nostalgia Critic was being beaten by the Angry Video Game Nerd and Kyle Justin, Linkara walked on scene saying that he wouldn't them beat up a wussy.
Wielding his Magic Gun, took aim, with the Nerd asking what use a toy gun would be, calling him an idiot. Linkara replied, saying "I AM A MAN!" and shooting Justin's hat off.
The Nerd asked how Linkara had done that, with Linkara revealing the gun was magic, only to receive a powerful punch from Benzaie, knocking him to the floor.
When Linkara got to his feet, still dazed, Benzaie punched him again, and he fell down once more.
After the Nerd and the Critic marshaled their respective forces, Linkara had gotten to his feet again, standing in fighting stance among the Critic's men. As the Critic attempted to deliver a rousing speech however, the opposite effect occurred, with Linkara, as well as the rest, becoming apathetic.
As the battle began anew, Linkara grappled with That Chick with the Goggles, before breaking off to fight others, and having his hat stolen by Benzaie. He was then knocked off his feet by the Stereotype of Doom thrown by That Aussie Guy.
He then lost his hat again, but it was thrown back to him by Rollo T. He attacked That Aussie Guy in retaliation; attacked Angry Joe; and mistakenly fought with MarzGurl, before being informed of his mistake by Bennett the Sage, and subsequently teaming with the former against the latter.
After again battling Angry Joe, Linkara, as well as all the other combatants, collectively cowered before Ma-Ti as he wielded the Nerd's Super Scope.
When Super Mecha Death Christ began fighting Giant Robotic Donkey Kong Jesus, Linkara, along with the rest of the Critic's forces, began cheering on the latter. After the nuclear explosion halted the fight between the two titans, Linkara again attacked Joe, and was again assaulted by MarzGurl, and was about to shoot 8-Bit Mickey when Ask That Guy appeared, calling for an end to the hostilities. Linkara was moved by That Guy's words, and subsequently took part in the photograph taken by That Guy. (FILM: TGWTG Team Brawl)
Undated Events[]
He also assisted him with a review of a film so horrible, that it left the Critic mute.
He also quite close with Spoony, to the point that they shared a nemesis, Dr. Insano, for some time.
Angry Joe was a close ally, with him aiding Linkara in taking over Lord Vyce's ship. Ironically, Linkara at one point fought Joe's nemesis, Corporate Commander, while on his travels.
He got along well enough with the Cinema Snob, whom he called for information on obscure films during the period he was trapped in his apartment by Jaeris. The Snob would later phone him for other information.
Psychic Vampire sighting[]
While a psychic vampire was reading a client's future, Linkara could be seen running inside her crystal ball, implying that Linkara was in the client's future. (SKETCH: Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop)
