Matthew Crowley was a Canadian military officer and serial killer of the 20th century. After being severely injured and disfigured during combat and on the operating table in the Pacific Campaign in World War II, Crowley was left with a pathological hatred of all doctors.

Biography[]

Military Service[]

Crowley enlisted in the Canadian Army in Winnipeg. He served in Hong Kong during the Second World War, and was left severely disfigured and brain damaged. Medical treatment provided by the army's doctors worsened Crowley's conditions, and left him with a lasting hatred of doctors. An army x-ray was taken of his skull in 1945.

Following his service, Crowley moved into the backwoods of Ontario with his brother Jesse, taking up residence in the area known as the Cauldron of the Moon. (FILM: Rituals)
