Mr. Covid was a shape shifter and sentient spreader of COVID-19.[1] During the COVID-19 pandemic, he sought gatherings of people and was often welcomed with open arms thanks to his ability to blend seamlessly.
Weapons and Abilities[]
Inherent Abilities[]
- Shape shifting: Mr. Covid possessed the ability to blend seamlessly into any environment.[1] (PSA: Covid Loves the Holidays, et al)
Notes[]
- Mr. Covid was created by Kurt Beaudoin and other employees of ZGM Modern Marketing Partners of Edmonton, Alberta, for the Covid Loves ad campaign. Jason Kenney's United Conservative Party had asked the company to come up with a campaign that would be relatable to those between the ages of 18 and 40. They opted to personify the virus.[1]
- Covid was portrayed by an actor unknown to this wiki.
- Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s chief medical officer of health, said the goal of the ad campaign was to reach those between the ages of 20 to 39.[2] The ads we filmed a month prior to their release, and were filmed under strict protocols that included "screening, off-camera masking and distancing at all times when the camera wasn’t rolling."[3]
