George Frederick Goldmann (alias George Gold) was a cult leader, terrorist, and international criminal of the 20th and 21st centuries. Influenced by the words of his father, Gold founded the Iscallon Centre as part of his attempts to discover Site: ALEPH in the Canadian Arctic. A 1990 expedition to locate alleged crashed aliens in the vicinity of Melville Island failed, leaving Gold the only survivor. He subsequently founded the Church of the Golden Light in New York City.
