Naotarô Daigo was a Japanese official who served as Secretary-General of the United Nations.

Daigo attended the International Economic University in Geneva, where he completed his postgraduate studies. He subsequently attended the Tokyo Technological University, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.[1] (FILM: Godzilla: Final Wars)

Daigo began working at the World Health Organization as a budget official. He subsequently worked in personnel administration at United Nations Headquarters. He additionally worked for the United Nations Asian Economic Committee, the UNEF, and the UNHCR.[1] (FILM: Godzilla: Final Wars)

Trivia[]
- Daigo's impressive CV is unremarked on in dialogue in the film. It is thus unclear whether Daigo's involvement with the United Nations Emergency Force dealt with the original (given the age of the actor portraying the character, this is conceivable) or whether it was intended to be a different peacekeeping force.
