Nicolas de Brabant was a medieval knight from the Duchy of Brabant. In 1228, he was brought across as a vampire by Lucien LaCroix. Over the centuries grew to loathe his vampiric nature and bloodshed, and witnessed the carnage on the battlefields of the Crimean War, the American Civil War, and served with the French Resistance during the Second World War. By the 1990s, the former crusader had settled in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and worked with the Metropolitan Police, taking the name of Nick Knight.

- Healing: Knight possessed a healing factor that allowed him to survive incredible bodily damage.
- Knight survived an exploding pipe bomb at close range. (TV: Only the Lonely)
