Notes[]
Behind the Scenes[]
- The Old Timer was portrayed by Canadian actor Wayne Robson.[2][3][4][5]
- Reviewer Jeff Allard felt that Robson's character delivered the best line of the second film.[6]
Continuity[]
- Robson's character was considered to be the same as Doug Bradley's character Maynard Odets from "Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines", a prequel to the original two films.[7][5] Odets' characterisation has been noted to differ from the Old Timer's, as in the first film the old man feared the approach of the brothers' truck, whereas Odets barked orders and happily partook in the murders in "Bloodlines".[8] Phelan Porteous did not recognise the characters as being one and the same.[9]
Appearances[]
- Wrong Turn (first appearance)
- Wrong Turn 2: Dead End (final appearance)
