Behind the Scenes

• Odets was played by English actor Doug Bradley. He was intended to be the same character as the Old Timer, who was played by Canadian actor Wayne Robson.

Continuity

• Odets is stated by his rap sheet to have been born in 1961. This introduces more continuity issues into the "Wrong Turn" franchise, as it would be very unlikely that he could have sired children in the time frame required for Three Finger, One Eye, and Saw Tooth to have reached the age they were in 1974 as shown in "Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings". Furthermore, that film claims that the three children were found eating the remains of their parents. Regardless, the Old Timer claims to have found his children in the Glenville Sanatorium, meaning they spent decades of their life there without ever committing murders outside the hospital, contradicting the plots of the first and second films. Assuming Odets to be their actual father, this would mean he spent decades not caring about his three children, or had never actually been their real father. Returning to the subject of the rap sheet, it states Odets had been arrested in 2013, and the file photos show a younger Odets who still had hair, meaning that in the prequel timeline the original film trilogy would have had to have occurred long after their release dates. The rap sheet also contradicts an earlier statement of his, in which he claimed to have never been caught and to have never moved in 30 years of serial murder, despite the wrap sheet showing that he had a residence in North Carolina and had been arrested in that state.
• Odets is shown to have been heavily domineering towards Three Finger, One Eye, and Saw Tooth, in the fifth film, heavily contradicting his behaviour in the first film where he's shown to be legitimately afraid of them. Furthermore, Odets supposedly grew his hair back in a different colour, shrank over a foot in height, changed his accent and face, and changed his modus operandi from being a proactive murderer to a lure for his children to stalk and kill people that drive through Bear Mountain Road.
