–Phelous D1, revealing himself to the world |
Phelous D1 was a malevolent counterpart to Phelous from the Channel Awesome Multiverse. Though he tried his hardest to hurt his enemy, Phelous typically had the upper hand.
Background[]
After conducting reviews of "I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer", "Funny Games", and "The Ruins", Phelous opted to review the Silent Hill film adaptation. This led to his becoming trapped in the Otherworld.
Biography[]
Revealing himself[]

Phelous D1 reveals himself
Phelous D1 conducted a review of the film Ghost Ship, never revealing himself until the finale. He threatened to steal the souls of the viewers of the video, so that they may be delivered to his master, The D1. (REVIEW: Phost Ship)
Confrontation with Phelous[]
At the end of the Dawn of the Living Dead review, Phelous complained that the movie wasn't over yet. Phelous D1 entered the room, revealing the movie was "already dead". Phelous reacted with disgust and derision, remarking that his counterpart couldn't be here. Phelous D1 explained that he hadn't been given a proper burial, and that if he were Phelous, that would mean that Phelous was dead and thus couldn't have given the review, and declared himself a different person and Phelous' nemesis. (REVIEW: Dawn of the Phailing Dead)
Phelous pointed out that he considered Sub-Zero to be his nemesis. Phelous D1 complained at his choice in nemeses, before SadPanda interjected that he was Phelous' nemesis. Phelous rejected this by pointing out that SadPanda had done Phelous' theme song, making SadPanda lose interest and leave. Phelous grew angry that the movie had ended and that the review had should have ended, when Phelous D1 claimed that Phelous had to face him. Phelous then asked what D1 meant, but a portal opened in the room, letting off purple lightning, which Phelous D1 proclaimed to be his one weakness as fell to the floor in flames. (REVIEW: Dawn of the Phailing Dead)
Next Appearance[]
After some time attempting to menace Phelous, he was killed. He returned at a later date, possessing the body of a dead Phelous while the main Phelous regenerated into a cat. Phelous was later reverted into a Human by Obscurus Lupa using a sandwhich, allowing him to shoot Phelous D1.
D1 survived his death by devouring other dead Phelouses, much like Jeepers Creepers, and attacked Phelous, only to be turned into a cat by Lupa using a Garlic sandwich.

He could seemingly transform at will from time to time, such as when he attempted to suggest a storyline for Phelous' show, only to be rejected, and for it to be pointed out that he should be a cat, forcing him to revert to feline form.
Weapons and Abilities[]
Considering his status as a duplicate of Phelous turned to the dark side, he shares all of his weapons and abilities.
- Death Rejection: A functional sort of immortality; regardless of how he might die, he will always return.
- Komedy Knife: A regular knife that that happened to have been in the Otherworld.
- Undead status: As a result of his never being given a proper burial, Phelous D1 is undead.[1] This however leaves him with a weakness to purple lightning.[1][2]

- Silent Phelous (First appearance as Phelous)
- Phost Ship (First appearance as Phelous D1)

- ↑ 1.0 1.1 This was only mentioned during the Dawn of the Living Dead review. Considering his later retconned origin as being the corrupted Phelous left behind in the Otherworld, this may no longer be canon.
- ↑ Phelous D1 proclaims purple lightning to be his "one weakness", though he would later be dispatched by shotguns and various other methods in later reviews. The purple lightning itself only hit him when he was about to explain what the "D1" in his name meant, meaning that the lightning may have had something to do with the D1 entity mentioned in the prior review.
