1930 Phobos
  • Astronomical Navigator and Gravitationist Bob Byron took control of the Satellite,[1] using the power of the ship's rockets to slow the moon's rotation.[2] Having slowed the moon's speed only a trifle, Phobos began to fall towards Mars.[3] The Satellite then lifted off from Phobos' surface before it hit the Martian atmosphere,[4] and crashed into the surface of the planet with enough force to jar the entire planet.[5] This destroyed the space fleet of the Tiger Men of Mars and prevented the forecasted invasion of Earth.[6]
