The Question

Vic Sage, alias the Question, was an American television newscaster and vigilante.

Weapons and Abilities[]

Equipment[]

  • Belt: The Question's belt contained a compartment for the safe storage of his mask, (COMIC: Who is the Question?, et al) and was designed to be able to unravel into a one piece line. (COMIC: Kill Vic Sage)
  • Chemically treated cards: When exposed to the gas, Sage's business cards would disguise his identity by hiding his information and revealing hidden lettering detailing a false identity. (COMIC: Kill Vic Sage)

  • Hand-to-hand combat: The Question could easily hold his own in a fight against multiple opponents. (COMIC: Who is the Question?)

Technology[]

  • Mask: A pliable and durable mask that can be seen, breathed, and spoken through. (COMIC: Who is the Question?, et al)

Notes[]

  • The Question was created by Steve Ditko, and was modeled after the objectivist principles of Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged".[1] The Question was himself the model for Alan Moore's Rorschach,[1] alongside Ditko's other creation Mr. A.[2]
  • Unlike other superheroes, the Question had no remorse or regrets from the deaths of his foes, and was willing to let them die even when he had the power to save them.
