Romana II was the second incarnation of the Time Lord known in the Doctor Who Multiverse and beyond as Romana, and having chosen the appearance of Princess Astra of Atrios, and a companion of The Doctor
This incarnation of Romana was in stark contrast to her previous incarnation, warmer and more receiving of his eccentricities, while remaining stern and commanding in situations in which that was called for.
After parting ways with The Doctor in E-Space, she eventually returned to become Lady President of Gallifrey.
Researchers have noted her resemblance to Laura Grayson, Anastasia Devine, Jill Hayden, Sarah Courtney, Lottie Trotter, Jo Hebden, Gilly Hamilton, Tracy Fischer, Kay Wargrave, Charity Higgins, Tessa Carmichael, Judith Stolle, Matushka, Eva Anderson, Davina Seacroft, Harriet Shelley, and others.
