Russell "Russ" Miner (16 September 1956 - 1998) was an English drug dealer of the late 20th century.

Death[]
Miner lays dead on the subway.
Having escaped Roman, Miner made one final request of Thompson to take care of Bud. After Thompson gave him his word, Miner succumbed to his injuries on the subway. Unable to do anything for his former friend, Thompson shut his eyes and got off the train at the next stop. After more passengers boarded, the train's movement caused Miner's corpse to lean forward onto one of them. The man, assuming him to be asleep, pushed Miner away from him.
Miner's corpse was subsequently found by the New York City Police Department after the train ended its service at Grand Central Station. (FILM: Caught Stealing)
Legacy[]
Thompson subsequently tracked down and arranged the death of Roman in the belief that she had killed Yvonne. However, Thompson shortly after discovered that Yvonne had actually been killed by gangsters Lipa Drucker and Shmully Drucker, and in turn killed them. Thompson subsequently stole the money and Miner's identity to escape to Tulum. (FILM: Caught Stealing)
