Seth Gold was a Human from the Goosebumps Multiverse. He received the Verona XG-20 Universal Remote in the mail, allowing him to manipulate reality.
It eventually ran out of power, but only before he had deactivated Earth itself, leaving him trapped in the void.
Prominent Variants[]
- One variant of Seth went through much the same dilemma, even with repeated warnings from Tony Hutchins, the spokesman for Armchair Electronics. Eventually, Seth had managed to wear the battery down to the point the remote would no longer function, and only after he'd turned off the power to the world. This time Hutchins was there, however, and Gold begged him for help. Hutchins merely reiterated the warning that the remote was not a toy, and left Seth to his fate.
