Hellspawn Abilities

• Energy Blasts: Spawn was able to fire blasts of energy from his hands that carved through the Violator.
• Durability: Spawn's body was incredibly resistant to damage.
  • Spawn shrugged off having his heart forcibly removed from his body.
• Healing: Spawn was able to heal himself with his own energy.
• Chain Manipulation: Spawn was able to manifest chains and use them as lethal appendages via strangulation.
• Shapeshifting: Spawn was able to change his charred form into that of a muscular blonde man. (COMIC:
• Teleportation: Spawn could separate his molecules, and move them at the speed of light to another location, and reassemble them. (COMIC: Payback, Part Two)

Armaments

• Firearms:
  • AK-830: A rocket launcher stolen from the United States Army. It was powerful enough to nearly completely destroy Overt-Kill's cyborg body. (COMIC: Payback, Part Two)

Weaknesses

• Impotence: Despite multiple attempts, Simmons was unable to impregnate Wanda Blake. He only learned of his impotence following his resurrection as a Hellspawn.
• Traumatic Memories: Spawn was occasionally overwhelmed by memories from his past, causing him immense suffering. (COMIC: Payback, Part Two)
• Teleportation Sickness: Spawn typically vomited after each instance of teleporting himself. (COMIC: Payback, Part Two)
