Ted Altman[1] was a Canadian law enforcement officer and organised crime figure of the 21st century. Corrupt and hungry for power, Altman challenged Mary Spalding both for her position as head of the Vancouver Organized Crime Unit and for CSIS' Head of the Asia Pacific Region. His efforts lead to his attempting to trade confidential informant and drug lord James Reardon to the DEA, before Spalding uncovered the Blackmire Group's shadowy attempt to enact a CIA coup in Ottawa.
