Vern Wilson[1] was a Canadian serial kidnapper and attempted rapist of the late 20th century. Wilson preyed on female hikers and campers in remote areas of the British Columbia wilderness in the hopes of forcing a woman to be his bride and partake in a subsistence lifestyle.[2]
