Wat Tyler (? - 15 June 1381) was the leader of the Peasant's Revolt of England in 1381. He led a group of rebels from Canterbury to London to protest the imposition of a poll tax and to demand social and economic reforms. He was killed by officers loyal to King Richard II during negotiations.
