The Xenomorph was a parasitic extraterrestrial life form born from the remains of USCSS Nostromo crewman Thomas Kane in June 2122. It picked off the crew of the Nostromo, killing them one by one, until Ellen Ripley managed to eject the creature from an airlock, stranding it in space. It was subsequently recovered by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, and killed after running amuck after being revived.
